What can be a useful gift for a cat lover? A cat calendar or a cat diary is certainly a nice-to-have gift. Let’s look at the cat calendars and diaries from Paper Pocket. Are they good gifts?
Paper Pocket has a range of cat calendars. One of them are breed specific – Russian Blues, Ragdolls, Persian Cats, and Maine Coons are among featured:
Another collection of cat calendars is called “Our four legged friends”. This collection includes “Fancy Felines & Fancy Fashion Calendar” and “Cats in Small Places Calendar”.
In the beginning, before I saw the calendars, I was not sure what kind of photographs the calendars contained. As a caring cat lover, I did not want to find photographs of cats in jars or cats in cloths as it’s not something I would like others to do with their cats.
It was a pleasant relief when I’ve got the calendars into my hands. The photographs are just gorgeous. Each month in a calendar has a professional photograph of a cat.
The calendars are large, which leaves enough space for days. Days appear in big squares, with plenty of room for adding personal notes for each day. All months have major Australian holidays marked, which is handy.
Every month contains short information on some cat topic. Breed-specific calendars contain short details on various aspects of the featured breed.
Those are wall calendars, which you can hang using a hole in each of them.
As a bonus each cat calendar includes 5 gift cards and matching envelopes. Square cat cards feature various cats as professionally done photographs.
Cat diaries are absolutely lovely. Not only you get a fantastic cat-themed place to write your notes and plans, but also you get a few interesting facts, advice and cat stories.
A cat diary opens with small calendars for 2014, 2015, and 2016. Standard “Personal Details” and “Important Contacts” sections are followed by public holidays and school terms dates.
Every season opens with its own cat photograph, as well as every month, and even every week. So you get a pretty much a book of cat photographs combined with a diary. Each day of a week has a space for writing notes for that day.
The “Fabulous felines and their fancy fashions” diary features cat breeds and human accessories, mainly women shoes, necklaces, and handbags.
Pages with advice and stories include the ones raising awareness about testing on animals, new kitty checklist, a few pages from Cat Protection, and on cat behaviour.
