Amazing cat rescues happen thanks to ordinary people. One of them are firefighters. Risking own lives, they safe lives of others. Watch two special cat rescue videos that will make your heart melt! I almost cried and felt SO proud for amazing firefighters rescuing cats. Hats off to people making a difference!
Watch this touching videos and share what you think.
A firefighter Kalanick was searching a home during the fire rescue operation and spotted something small and grey on the floor. It was a tiny kitten who was not showing any signs of life. Kalanick took the kitten and rushed outside. There were no special pet oxygen masks, so the firefighter used a child mask and… a miracle happened! A tiny ball of fur woke up!
Pet oxygen masks are designed specifically for dogs and cats. The mask properly fits a pet face increasing the chance of surviving.
The person who shared the video told that “Wanted to let you all know that all of the attention resulted in pet oxygen masks being donated to our department. Enough to have one on each rig.” The person also donated all money from the ads on the video to the local emergency vet.
This video-photographic montage of firefighters rescuing cats was dedicated by this youtube user to their Dad, a veteran firefighter. Watch and feel proud too! Are firefighters true cat heroes?
Who will save your cats while you are not at home? How does a fire emergency crew know that there are cats inside the house? Help them and your cats. You can place a Pet Emergency or Pet Alert Sticker on front windows and backyard doors – the places firefighters are likely to come in through. Make it clearly visible. Firefighters recommend Pet Alert Stickers as it helps them to help your cat!
What pet alert sticker will work better? For the pet alert sticker I recommend using the one with contrast and alerting colours (red, yellow). You want it to be noticeable and not mixed with non emergency stickers. I think it’s important to mention the number of pets (3 cats, 2 dogs) on the sticker.
Below are 4 examples of Pet Safety Alert stickers that you can get right now (just click on the sticker you liked). My personal choice would be the square pet alert sticker with a white cross. (To remove the dog, if you need to, click on the picture, then click “Customise” in the opened page)
