A lovely but extremely obese 9 years old cat Toby was surrendered to GAWS (Geelong Animal Welfare Society).

Lovely but Obese Cat at Geelong's GAWS

15kg cat Toby was surrendered to Geelong Animal Welfare Society and is now available for adoption.

Rarely such an obese cat appears at GAWS. Put on a diet, which now excludes possums, Toby already lost 3kg and is doing great.

A loving giant is looking for a forever home. Are you the one who will make a company for Toby? Visit or contact GAWS for an update on the kitty.

Editor’s Note:

This cat looks very similar to my cat, and his name is also Toby, and he was adopted from Geelong Animal Welfare Society! And my Toby gained weight very quickly after we adopted him. We switched our Toby to food with right ingredients and.. my Toby looks how he should and not obese any more! I wish Toby find a loving new owner who will take care of him and will enjoy his company.
