Founded by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and animal rights groups in 2002, the International World Cat Day is celebrated on August 8.
Cat ladies, cat gents, cat mums and cat dads hug their kitties tight on that day. All cat lovers celebrate a World Cat Day!
Cats have been welcomed to a human house for more than 9000 years. Valued for their ability to control vermin and household pests, cats are now adored for just being a cat.
Cat companionship is proven to help people – with benefits to person’s health, cats are soul mates and are great life companions.
Cats save lives and even help kids to improve their reading skills.
Cats show us their affection by raising a tail, shaking it, and making it look like a question mark. Rubbing against our legs, kneading, and purring are just some signs cats love us.
